Friends,
I want to thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication, for your support and belief in me and this CAMPAIGN FOR THE PEOPLE. We are all winners today. We are winners because we have dared to try. We have met new people we never would have met and we have gone to new places that we never would have gone. Moreover, because we have run this race, we have given that child that comes from Pauldoe, Rock Springs, Broad Acres, Nellie B, and, yes, Carver Homes, the ability to dream and do and be.
We are winners because we have caused the leaders in Atlanta to take notice. To know that we will no longer be ignored and that we want action on issues that matter to us, like providing our kids with a top notch education, making sure that we all have access to health care and building a stronger economy so that we can all have a wonderful quality of life.
We are winners because we have run a good race and fought a good fight and I want to thank you all for a job well done
